Championing Wellbeing at Dimply

At Dimply, we recognise that the health and wellbeing of our Dimples (that’s what we call ourselves ☺️) are paramount. That’s why we were thrilled to participate in National Workplace Wellbeing Day 2024 in April, organised by IBEC. This special day provided us with an opportunity to focus on enhancing our work environment and promoting practices that support the wellbeing of every team member.

National Workplace Wellbeing Day is not just about a single day of activities but about embedding a culture of health and wellness within our organisation. This year, we lined up a variety of initiatives designed to engage, inspire, and promote a healthier work-life balance:

  • Summer Fridays: During the summer months, we enjoy a 1pm finish every Friday - to allow everyone to take advantage of the longer hours and spend more time with family.
  • Get Moving: We encouraged our team to step away from their desks and enjoy the outdoors. Whether it was a refreshing walk at sunrise or a lively run during lunch, moving your body is a perfect way to clear your mind. Our team captured these moments and shared them, showing us all in action!
  • Mindful Moments: Some of our Dimple’s enjoyed a relaxing virtual meditation together. Whether attending the live session at 9:15 AM or watching it in their own time, it was a great way for our team to cultivate mindfulness.
  • Engage and Appreciate: Our Dimply Kudos Board became a space to leave messages of thanks, celebration, or simply to share something you’re grateful for.
  • Explore and Connect: Our team engaged through our dedicated Slack channels. Whether discussing the latest F1 race, sharing current reads in our book club, or exchanging music recommendations, there was a place for everyone to share their passions.

Championing Wellbeing and Life-Work Balance:
At Dimply, we believe in putting life first, creating a true life-work balance. Our commitment to wellbeing goes beyond a single day of celebration. We strive to ensure that our employees have the support they need to thrive both in and out of the workplace.
